Take a different Route

There was one morning on my way to work, I suddenly changed my mind to take a different route to work instead the one I am using everyday. And well, it has been some times I never use Green Lane to work as the traffic there is not doing any good for me but just increasing my frustration day by day. Been using another way through Jetty then all the way using the new Jelutong Highway. It might look abit more far for some people but at least I don't have to jam all the way to work..and it makes me feel better each morning.

And that morning without thinking much, my mind and my hand just lead me to Gurney Drive. The sunshine, the sky, the view, the even smoother traffic enlighten my day and brought a good start for my day :)

So, take a different route sometimes..you will never know it might bring you surprise, something extra or make your day a little different :) Same for our life, take a diffferent route when you feel your current route is no longer making you any good. Life is full of different paths and routes :)

~ Pai Ti Kong ~

The 9th day of CNY - the day to Pai Ti Kong for Hokkien people. Also, it happened to drop on the night of Valentine's Day this year :) Went jetty there to join in the fun that night and frankly it was my 1st time there cause I am not a Hokkien and my family never do it :p Anyway, it was a great experience and fun though.

It was crowded and even the 'Bu Lang Sai' has no space to dance :p wakakaka.
Here are all the stuffs on the long table which people brought to pai the Ti Kong..alot hehhhh.

Spotted one cute stuff on the table. The Nian Nian You "Fishy" Hehe..isn't it cute and nice?? It's made by jelly.

Ummmm....crabs???? Why crab?? I am curious......what's the meaning of this. Hmmmm

It was also a night where you can find all those Pro Photographers around..hehe with their very the canggih gadgets :p

And finally, the moment I've been waiting for the whole night. The fire cracker time - the really really long eh Ang Phao...the length is almost as long as the street I guess..yes I think it is haha. I waited till 12:30am then only they fired it (the next morning still need to work :S)

I almost fainted due to the thick toxic smoke and the loud noice of the Ang Phao :p Somemore there was an uncle in front of me keep pushing back and nearly made me fall :( Uncle, if you scared pls go stand at the back lar and not at the front line but keep reversing and pushing people at your back HEHHHHH

I called it a night by taking the last picture with the floors of burned Ang Phao.

I Wish

For this brand new year, I am not hoping too much. I just wish:

~ my family and I, also friends around stay healthy and have a smooth year
~ a new start for my career with a much better environment
~ more increment of course...I wish
~ lastly, no more BIATCH to ruin people's relationship

A Gathering after 15 years

CNY 3rd day, met some friends I have not met for what..15 years!!! Yea, it was a gathering with my Primary Schoolmates. (Oppsss liddat ppl mah know my actual age liao lor :p well, who cares ler..old liao must admit old lor okie keke) I am not sure did some of them actually met or still do keep in touch with each other..maybe some did as I myself do keep in touch still with a few of them. So, I guess this is "formerly" the first gathering for all of us..hehe.

At first I was wondering..how was it gonna be? will it a bit awkward?? will we have things to talk about?? Cos anyhow, we have not met for sooo many years and some might already look different from what we remember in our mind haha.

And things went pretty great and the feeling was nice :) meeting back all your kiddo friends..it was really nice. But too bad not everyone turn up..some lost contact, some didn't manage to make it and some no longer in PG. The most funny part to meet your friends whom you have not seen for so long is - in your memory, they are tiny and much much shorter than you (esp those guys kakaka) and right now they are all like "zoom"...hmm okie, look totally like a different person haha..and tall :p

Their comments to me was..I look really really different from last time too. Ehemm, well of course..I am getting older and older and older AND I am getting fatter and fatter and fatter. Hehhh....whyyyyyy, why they are to see me at my worst ever, fattest ever period :p Bleh

But well, overall I felt great to meet them back after so long :) And somewhat hope for the next one to come soon hehe

Angpao Collecting Day

Happy CNY !! :) Yeah. the annual Angpao Collecting Day is finally here. Been busy collecting angpaossss today kekeke $_$ Well, as years go by while we are growing older and older, must grab whichever chance to collect it while you are still "qualified" for it WAKAKAKA. $_$

Anyway, Gong Xi Fa Cai...wishing everyone a happy and prosperous new year :)

Back..from the tiny but well-organized island

Yeah, i am back from my almost a week's vacation :p This is my 2nd visit to this tiny island and my 1st visit was like what...stuck only in Suntec City and the hotel which i've forgotten the name LOL So I called this a "REAL VISIT" cos I felt like 1st time entering this island WAHAHA.

Along the trip, our only transports were No.11 bus(walking :p) and MRT :s By the end of the trip, or halfway I already got serious backache sobz sobz. It was sooo horrible that i can even felt the pain when I was coughing :s too much of No.11 bus Bleh. It was fun though and there were some stuffs where I really enjoyed BUT shopping there was really killing me..I have to think and consider again and again and again before i buy something..well, no choice this is a budget trip HEHH.

But one thing surprised me - that is S'pore was full of tourists when we were there, i think i can call it crowded :s All the hotels were fully booked. We saw Korean, China and Thai tourists everywhere we go. We have no choice but to stay in a disappointing yet expensive hotel :( NO INTERNET NO SWIMMING POOL ROOM DAMN SMALL ahh nightmare(got that bad boh!!!)

But well, overall the trip was ok lar haha. So here's some sharing...of what I enjoyed and experienced :)

The Chinatown - just one word CROWDED :s but it's pretty and you can feel the warm festive season mood.
For the first time I seen so much of LAP CHEONGsss hanging out there for sale haha.
AND......KIAM HU???? wahahaha.
Also, i've tasted the best ever jap food so far The Sushi Tei. yummy yummy..look at the Dragon Sushi. Ohhh starting to miss it liao *slurp slurp* Right after the Sushi meal, we went straight to Ben & Jerry for desserts.....the ice creams hehhh NICE!! i love the Chunkey Monkey and Strawberry Cheese the most..Ahhhhhhhhh
After such heavy dinner and desserts..can't just head back to hotel and sleep right?? So we went for a LOOOOOONG walk to their Esplanade to meet the so called "Durian" and the symbol of S'pore - The Merlion. Nice??

Without us realising, it was already alomst 12 and we need to catch the last train. Pheww..luckily we made it..else will have to take No.11 bus back to hotel and that was DAMN FAR weiii...

Talk about MRT its really nightmare for me. Its been so long since the last time i took our LRT back in KL. And their MRT was really really crowded. most of the time we were standing all allong the journey and the worst experience was the journey from my cousin's house to Changi Airport. With our huge luggages, standing most of the time to our destination for 1 hour plus...isshhhh.

The day before we heading home, went to Sentosa and ya my 1st visit :p Get to see something exciting - the pink dolphin. Do you know that they are grey when they were borned and will only turn to pink when they are matured. Well, I just knew :p I enjoyed this the most and winessed how intelligent they are :)
Lucky dolphin huhh..get to be so close and touch by the sexy babe. Oh should I say the babe is lucky get to touch the dolphin..hahahaha.
Opsss...sorry forgot to turn off my flash. The giant blue fish from underwater world was staring at me when I took this. And I guess it was saying "what the hell r u doin?? can't u read?? NO FLASH" kakakaka.
Guess what is this?? Its Jellyfish...they were awesome.
Another stuff I really enjoyed was the Skyride & Luge. We took the skyride up and glided down to the bottom with the luge..fun hehh.
See see..here we are. Gliding down towards the destination haha.
Lastly, get to meet these 2 angels. My cousin's babies :) Wonder when will I see them again..hehh.
