Been here for almost a week

Pheww..time really flies. I am already here for almost a week and it's just like yesterday when I arrived in Costa Rica. Well, it is getting really busy with trainings everyday and activities after work at night :p

Ahhh, I am tired..I am exhausted. I've never have enough sleep since the first day I travel. I had jetlag when I was in LA and I was like didn't sleep at all for 3 or 4 days..man. Then when I am here in Costa Rica, there's just too much nice places to go and we were like out for everynight. Been asked by many friends about the country. Like how is it like? how's the people..haha. But tell you what it is not 'ulu' as we used to thought it is. Well, don't compared it with US and you'll find it a nice place with nice people around. And not to forgot with lots of hot sexy babes and handsome guys..wohohoohoho.

ok, been asked by many many friends to share pictures..haha. But I don't really have the time to post it here. If I am to post it, I am sure I'll have thousands and thousands words to write :p and that's gonna take me 1 day and 1 night to write it :p So, I'll just share the link where I uploaded some pictures there :) Will write about this place and the people if possible. Wohoo..its weekend. time to go to the beach for our weekend vacation. Guanacaste...here we come!!!!

Jetlag...still..but arrived in one piece

Today, March 18th...I finally arrived in Costa Rica...in one piece :p Was in LA for approximately 3 days and 2 nights. I slept like only 2 hours every night ever since I reached LA..sobz sobz. Thought that I would get a good sleep after the tiring LA one day tour..but but, still I awaken at 4am PST..haiz. But lucky still got two more people can't sleep together with me..haha.

It was really cold out there in LA..especially night time. the weather was 13 degree during day time. But surprised that I was able to survive with only wearing my normal jacket..wahahha. Is this a sign that I am getting fatter and fatter that I have enough fat to keep me warm :p

well, will post more and share some pictures soon but not today. I am really exhausted..haha. Just would like to tell all my friends back there in Penang who care for me and wish me safe journey that ~"I am here in Costa Rica now..hehe!!"~

Thanks for all your wishes. Gonna miss you guys..see ya 1 month later..hehe. Already miss my parents, my bed..wahahhaa.

Exhausted..but excited

So tiring..I am really out of time and still lots more to prepare for it. Heeelllppp meeeeee !!!
I got lots of things to write but don't really have the time to post any...sigh.
Tired..exhausted..but a bit excited and looking forward for it...hahhhhh.
Alright, guess my next post will most probably be next week before I fly or after I fly..haha.

Flying in three weeks

Hmm, Thursday my manager confirmed with me that he wants me to fly over to Costa Rica on March 15th. Nooo, I thought I have more time to prepare for it. It's just three more weeks. I haven't have my visa done and I have to prepare training materials and stuffs. Guess I'll gonna be really busy starting from now.

Been dreaming of flying for a long time but this is so sudden and so rush. Yea, some peoples might have done it just in one week but I really hope I can have more time as I have to rush to KL for my visa and have to get all my training stuffs done before I fly..but, it's final so just do it then. Good is I get to stop in LA before I fly to CR. Bad is most probably I'll be flying alone. My first ever flight and travel..and I'm all alone, a bit scared actually. Well, time to get myself to be more independent haha. Like what my friends told me..it's adventorous haha. Hope I don't get lost on the way lol.

One more thing, I didn't get to join my friends for Redang trip somewhere in April anymore..sobz sobz. Been planning to go for a long time and finally I thought I get to go this time. Guess I have no fate with Redang...haaiizz

Summer Cafe

Wednesday night came back from Ipoh, thought wana bring parents for Japanese food at Pulau Tikus. OK, it was closed. Then change location to Taiwan food at 1-Stop. After parked our car, walked up the stairs..saw the light is on. Feel relief..but once I pushed the door and stepped in the shop, they waved their hand to me said "sorry we are closed today" Ahhhhhhhh, then I saw the it's writing - closed on Wednesday on the door. OK, fine next target Pizza Hut at Gurney Drive. Don't tell me Pizza Hut is closed as well ok. Alright, it was not closed..BUT the traffic was so damn jam over there. It was such a long queue just to turn in to Gurney. Just forget about it. Why?? why?? I just wana bring my parents for a good meal. Really been out of idea. Then I thought of the restaurant that just opened not long ago in our neighborhood. Wanted to try it out since long time ago. It was a nice decorated place and it's nearly full each time we passed by. OK, decided...that's our final target since it's just on the way to our home.

Never seen how it looks like internally but the out look is already quite attracting. It's called Summer Cafe. Yea, it really gave us the summer feel haha. The environment is very nice and comfortable. They have those tropical plants around and the wall of the restaurant is made of water. The Water Wall..hahaha. The wall is actually made of transparent glass with water flowing down on the glass. Such a nice wall..hehe.

Thought of wana have something light. But they don't have Ala Carte during CNY as they afraid many peoples will be coming where their chefs might not be able to prepare many different kinds of food. So, we have to take the set dinner which is Ribeye Steak, Lamb Loin, Grilled Salmon or Grilled Chicken. OMG, all are my favourite..headache of which one to choose. Hmm, I have had enough cholestrol during CNY, ok so no more Lamb or steak...go for fish then hehe. While mum and dad go for lamb and chicken. the price is RM39 for chicken while RM49 for the rest three (including 15% tax). So, is it worth the price? I don't know..well, its just once a while and I just hope to have a good meal which cheer my parents and myself up. End up, it did cheer us up :) Took some pictures of the foods and environment but in real it looks much nicer due to the bad quality of my phone camera hehe. So, for those who like to go and have a try. It's located at Tg. Bungah, just at the roadside, next to the turning to TAR COllege after you come down from the "Initial D road" kakakaka.

Fatty New Year

have not been posting any since last two weeks..been busy then it's CNY. So here I come again. All posts in one day :p

Chinese New Year?? What we normally do during CNY? Sit, eat, sleep, visiting relatives and friends..eat again, eat nonstop :s So, CNY=time to get fat (at least it's so damn true for me..cos I'll sure gain lots and lots of fats lol)**this year all my relatives said I am getting fatter and fatter :'( But I admit, I am putting on weight in just a few days time..noooooo. Blame those Bak Kua, cookies..no, should blame myself..cos those nice but fattening and oily food wont come into your mouth if you didn't put them in..sobz sobz

So, this CNY is still the same for me. Maybe not really that same compared to last year..hmm. But well, this year from the 1st day untill the 4th I was spending all my time with my family visiting relatives here and there. Hehh, we got sooo many places to go till like even untill the 4th day we cant complete our visiting tour :p Hmm, who asked my mum to be the youngest in her family..so, no choice we have to go visit people and not sitting at home wait for people to come :p I was with my family all the time and I didn't make it for most of my friends' activities. Last few years I would go angpao tour with the gangs or gathering at one of the friend's house but not this year..hmm, so sorry. But I did go gambling at a friend's house..kekeke :p Well, I am not a "Kiao Kui" haha but just for fun lar. Never had any luck for the past few years so never expect anything but just would like to have fun cos the process of playing is quite fun actually. It's different this year, got a bit of lucks hehe. Or maybe the person I brought along to join the FATT CHOY GATHERING brings me luck...hahaha.

3rd day - went SP visit Aunty. When we go the traffic was smooth but when we were going back to PG..OMG. Stuck at the bridge toll was nothing as it was expected. When we finally got out of the jam at toll and driving through the bridge, there were the traffic polices asked us to turn into the opposite lane. Hehh, our lane is doing fine what why want us to use other people's lane?? Well, just turned as instructed lar what to do. So it was like there's three lanes for those who come from mainland to PG island while only one lane for those from island to mainland. End up, we were stuck at the opposite lane for one hour. Why?? because those cars from island never expect that we'll be using their lane and came out from those HOLES without cones trying to cut queue..although the police have already placed those cones on the lane which is supposed to stop them from coming out to so called OUR LANE. So, we the explorers (my car is the 3rd one) to concurred their lane were like face to face with them and no where to go. Awwwww...the police had to lead in front of us FORCING those cars to go the hell back to their lane. Next time please ensure the lane is cleared before asking us to go and concurred people's lane. But anyhow, the best part is for my whole life I've never experience a traffic police opening the road for me before..wahahaha. Feel like those "Tua Liap Lang" :p The bad part is those opposite car drivers and passangers were staring at us like weirdo. I could see that their faces were like full of question marks haha. I am sure they must be thinking "who the hell are they..why come into our lane and made us jam? they don't look like what "Tua Liap Lang" at all what..they are just driving the same car as me and not those maseli what..." wakakaka. By the time we reach home, it's already quite late.

4th day - went Ipoh. My parents wanted to have Dim Sum as last time they didn't get to eat because of ME (felt guilty again). When we reached, there was not even a place to stand...so end up went somewhere else for curry mee. At uncles's house..no I should say shop haha..chit chatting with cousins, watching the five lil' monkeys running here and there. And again, it's evening and time to go home. My bro was heading back to KL while we back to PG. The next day both us have to start work. Hehh..exhausted. But I just work for one day and friday...wohooo, off again :p So, friday wwent to our last station for the visiting tour. Phewww, finally mission completed. ~The End~

Me in the banner..haha

After about like a year, this banner is finally here..haha. I am in my department's banner *shy shy*. The pictures were actually taken in year 2006. Thought that it'll never be printed out but it's finally here..hanging on the wall in my department..ahemm. What are the comments I received from people then? "hey, you looked fatter lar last time" Wahaha, this is the what I heard the most :p And also there's some other comments like why it is so unfair. Why? the answer is out of the 6 people in the banner, 5 are actually from my team. We have 4 teams all together in my department but only my team members are chosen for the photo shoot and another person from one of the other team :p Well ok, the Project Manager said that he'll make sure the next one will be really fair which is 2 from each team will be picked. So here's the banner. I took it using my camera phone when there's not much people around..else people will said this char boh really be paiseh one take her own picture..wakakaka.
